Overview Seven Sisters Spirits is a family-owned independent retailer of wine, spirits, craft and domestic beer. Seven Sisters has been voted the "Lakes Areas Best Liquor Store" six years in a row! We are looking for a dynamic, customer focused manager with strong integrity who is interested in growing an already thriving business. The lakes area is a beautiful place to explore while enjoying a fun working experience. The position requires working with the store manager and other assistant manager to oversee store operations in its entirety with the goal of proficiently managing store economics, budgeting, setting and attaining sales projections, analyzing data, inventory management and being able to collaborate with owners. Must possess good communications skills with the public and our clientele and ensures our store provides excellent customer service. Position requires the ability to effectively learn/operate necessary computer POS systems and software such as excel and quickbooks. Must ensure compliance with state, federal, and OSHA laws and regulations. Duties Operations and Marketing Managers collaboratively oversee the store operations in its entirety. Ensures conformance of state and local laws, licenses, and procedures. Has a strong framework in marketing. Develops, evaluates, and recommends marketing and retail goals. Provides a positive, friendly, efficient sales staff that aligns with the store owners' mission. Ensures store, customer, and employee confidentiality. Inventory Follows inventory management procedures daily. Responsible for purchasing and maintaining reasonable inventory levels. Ensures inventory levels are effectively dated, counted and recorded annually. Evaluates and prepares reports for slow moving, and low profit margin goods. Collaborates on annual sales goal reports and ensures they are being met. Supervision, at the direction of the Store Manager Hires and supervises liquor store employees as directed. Does adequate research and background checks when hiring. Provides employees with all job expectations including customer service expectations, safety procedures, training, cross training opportunities, task lists, secure money and inventory handling, employee evaluations and can reprimand and or fire employees as needed. Ensures proper housekeeping to provide a clean/safe customer and employee environment. Financial Exercises working knowledge of accounting principles, Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss. Works to optimize profitability. Ensures objectives are being met to meet the liquor store budget. Responsibilities that may include reviewing and evaluating all daily, weekly, and monthly financial and inventory reports. Ensures safe handling of all liquor store assets. Collaborates with and provides reports to store managers and owners. Equipment/Technology Can effectively learn, operate and train using a POS system. Can properly operate and oversee camera and door security system. Proficiently use word processing, excel, generate and analyze reports. Optimize use of technology, social networking and direct to consumer platforms.
