You MUST be 18 years old to apply. The Closer would be working 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. and closing the building each night. Closing the building each night requires cleaning the entire facility along with a few additional closers that would work alongside you. ```Duties```

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
• Supervise children during playtime and meals
• Assist with personal care tasks such as diapering, feeding, and dressing
• Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to promote positive behavior
• Communicate with parents about their child's daily activities and progress

• Previous experience in nannying, childcare, or related roles
• Familiarity with caring for children of different ages, from infants to preschoolers
• First aid and CPR certification preferred
• Understanding of behavior management techniques
• Cleaning experience preferred The Childcare Provider & Cleaner works alongside teachers and other closing staff to help ensure the children are cared for, and classrooms are clean, organized, and ready for the next day.

This position requires flexibility and a willingness to step in wherever help is needed. Responsibilities may vary depending on the needs of the classroom and center. At times, the employee may provide direct care for children, assist the teacher, or step in and take over the classroom when the teacher needs to leave. Other times, the employee may focus primarily on closing and cleaning the classroom. The role may also involve a combination of childcare and cleaning responsibilities during the same shift. The Childcare Provider & Cleaner will work cooperatively with other closers, communicate with teachers and staff, and help complete all necessary closing duties. Employees are expected to be attentive to the needs of the children and classroom, take initiative, and step in to assist wherever needed to help the center close safely, smoothly, and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, attentive, and nurturing care for children when assigned to the classroom.
• Assist the teacher with classroom activities, supervision, and daily routines.
• Step in and take over classroom responsibilities when needed.
• Work alongside other closing staff to complete end-of-day responsibilities.
• Clean, sanitize, organize, and reset classrooms as needed.
• Complete closing and cleaning duties according to center expectations.
• Help with children and cleaning tasks as needed, sometimes balancing both responsibilities during the same shift.
• Communicate with teachers and other staff regarding classroom needs and closing tasks.
• Be flexible and willing to step in wherever support is needed.
• Ensure classrooms and common areas are safe, clean, and ready for the following day.
• Follow all childcare, health, safety, and center policies.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.

Pay:

$15.00
