In this entry-level management position, you will collaborate closely with your Janitorial Manager to uphold the impeccable standards of our stores.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preserving the overall appearance of the store by executing tasks such as floor polishing, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and maintenance of light fixtures, while promptly addressing spills to ensure a hazard-free environment. Providing guidance and leadership to the janitorial team, fostering a culture of excellence through supervision, constructive feedback, and setting exemplary standards. Adhering to strict safety protocols, including proper floor-care techniques, utilization of hazard signage, safe operation of equipment and chemicals, and compliance with all safety regulations to mitigate risks effectively. Qualifications for
Success:
1+ years of experience in a leadership capacity, preferably in a managerial role, showcasing your ability to inspire and guide others effectively Hold a high school diploma or equivalent qualification Demonstrate a foundational understanding of maintenance equipment and chemical usage. Exhibit a strong work ethic, coupled with the autonomy to execute scheduled duties meticulously and the proactive initiative to address unforeseen challenges as they arise.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Ability to push and pull up to 50 lbs of force occasionally
Occasional:
Sitting and climbing; frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, and handling
Frequent:
