Manage daily store operations including opening, closing, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management. Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage. Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff members to build a high-performing team with strong product knowledge. Implement employee orientation programs and conduct regular performance evaluations to promote ongoing development. Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, and manage budgets to ensure operational efficiency. Supervise shift management, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies while fostering a positive team environment. Skills Proven experience in retail store management with strong supervisory skills in managing sales teams. Excellent communication skills including managerial communication, phone etiquette, and organizational abilities. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory control software, and basic math for retail math calculations. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams through training & development initiatives. Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, pricing strategies, and operational management to optimize store performance. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases effectively. Demonstrated experience in employee orientation, interviewing candidates, recruiting top talent, and supervising staff members. Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques along with cash handling and cashiering expertise. Ability to manage budgets, perform bookkeeping tasks accurately, and handle administrative responsibilities efficiently.
