Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Manager to oversee daily operations at our cell phone store. The ideal candidate will possess strong managerial communication skills, extensive knowledge of cell phones and how they work, and proven experience managing retail sales teams. This role involves supervising store activities, managing inventory and purchasing, and ensuring excellent customer service to drive sales and maintain store efficiency. Duties Lead and supervise the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for customers. Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels, track product movement, and coordinate stock replenishment. Utilize POS systems effectively for sales transactions, returns, and inventory updates. Handle purchasing decisions to ensure the store is stocked with the latest cell phones and accessories while managing vendor relationships. Communicate clearly with team members and management to ensure store goals are met and issues are resolved promptly. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of retail products, especially cell phones and related technology, to assist customers effectively. Supervise staff performance, provide training as needed, and foster a positive team environment focused on retail industry standards. Requirements Proven experience in retail sales management, preferably within the electronics or cell phone industry. Strong managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team. Experience supervising retail staff and managing daily store operations. Proficiency with POS systems for processing transactions efficiently. Knowledge of inventory management practices and purchasing procedures. Familiarity with retail industry sales strategies and customer service excellence. Ability to understand technical details about cell phones and how they work to assist customers effectively. Supervisory experience in a retail environment is essential.
