Competitive pay based on prior knowledge and experience About the Role We are seeking an experienced Service Department Manager to oversee our daily service operations, manage technicians, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for running a profitable, efficient service department while maintaining strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily service operations, work order scheduling, and technician workflow to maximize productivity and billable hours. Diagnose customer needs, manage service intake/checkout, and communicate job statuses, estimates, and timelines clearly. Lead, mentor, and hold service technicians accountable for work quality, efficiency, and safety standards. Control department inventory, track labor efficiency, and manage service department profitability and warranty claims. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment adhering to industry safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements Service Management Experience:
Prior experience managing a service department, service counter, or service workflow is strongly preferred.
Product Knowledge:
Familiarity with heavy/outdoor equipment and powersports—specifically tractors, lawn mowers, side-by-sides (UTVs), and ATVs —is required. Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Proficiency with dealership management software, inventory tracking, and scheduling systems. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
