Bish Enterprises, a family-owned agricultural equipment business, is seeking an energetic Sales Manager. This multifaceted role calls for an individual ready to commit to our unique and unconventional product line and the dynamic agricultural industry. As a Sales Manager, you will lead our small but dedicated sales team, drive customer acquisition, increase revenue growth, and oversee direct sales efforts. Collaborating with upper management as well as our marketing team, you'll devise strategic sales and marketing plans, manage the marketing budget, and ensure our campaigns align with our brand identity. This role will be directly involved with the day-to-day sales, while simultaneously providing coaching, guidance, and accountability to our sales team members. Your knack for analyzing the effectiveness of these strategies will be critical to optimizing our sales potential. As the primary contact for sales-related issues, we will rely on your proactive problem-solving skills. Join us as we continue to foster growth and success within the agricultural equipment sector. 
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in determining price schedules and discount ratesAssist in identifying issues with shipping through direct involvement to help provide clarity on invoices and increased efficiency, productivity, and safety within that departmentAssist in the preparation of budgets and budget expendituresCollaborates effectively with others for the success of the department; promotes a free flow of information & ideas across departmentsCommunicating with Supervisors, Peers, or SubordinatesConfer with department heads or staff to discuss topics such as contracts, selection of advertising media, or product to be advertisedConfer with organizational members to accomplish work activitiesCoordinate and/or manage sales activitiesDemonstrate a high degree of business acumenDocumenting/Recording Information (Maintain operational records, Prepare forms or applications)Ensures all customers, internal and external, are kept informed of issues.

Follows all proper communication channels with invoice process, with thorough communication and positive internal and external customer relationsManage and provide leadership to the sales teamMonitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales effortsOversee sales staffPlan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs (if applicable)Plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase sales of products or services, working with customers, company officials, sales departments, and advertising agenciesPlan, present, and/or facilitate sales presentations and meetingsProvide presentation and product demonstration support during the introduction of new products and services to customersProvide up-to-date and accurate information on sales numbers (Current, Goal, Trend, etc.)Provides problem/issue resolution for customers and other sales personnel to ensure optimal positive customer service.

Read trade journals and professional literature to stay informed on trends, innovations, and changes that affect media planningReports to CEO/COO and/or Customer when additional items are required, preventing possible customer dissatisfaction.

Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products (as needed)Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and serviceReview operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability

2 or more years of relative work experience2 or more years of supervisory experience

Salaried Position at $55,000 / year + Commissions (Expected yearly earnings of $75,000 - $100,000 with commission targets)
Hours/Work Week:
50+ hoursHours will be mostly during these times: o Monday - Friday o Saturday (2-4 per month)Customer Deadlines and Agriculture Seasonality may require additional availabilityWorking remotely will be required from time to timeCandidate must stay for 1 year to be able to understand sales cycle and reach desired results.
