Grounds Department Manager
  • Steele Hill Resorts Sanbornton, New Hampshire (15 minutes from Tilton and Belmont) Nestled in the scenic Lakes Region of New Hampshire and overlooking Lake Winnisquam, Steele Hill Resorts is a premier resort destination featuring over 150 guest rooms, a full-service restaurant, and a wide variety of indoor and outdoor amenities (available for employee use).
Compensation:
$55,000.00 to $60,000.00 based on qualifications.

  • Available after one year of employment What You'll do Maintain all resort grounds, including parking lots, walkways, outdoor common areas, and landscaped spaces Perform snow plowing and shoveling during winter months, including mornings, and nights as needed to ensure safe and accessible conditions during storms Maintain and oversee company vehicles, including inspections and basic repairs Maintain the on-site 9-hole executive golf course Perform routine landscaping duties such as mowing, weed-whacking, planting, mulching, and watering Ensure building accessibility and curb appeal by removing litter, debris, snow, and ice from walkways and parking areas, including employee parking areas Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all company policies and procedures Order materials and supplies as needed, including parts, fuel, salt, sand, and equipment Stay current with job knowledge through training and educational opportunities
Requirements:
What we're Looking For Minimum of 3 years of groundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred Snow removal and plowing experience required High School Diploma or GED Experience with equipment operation and maintenance Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently High level of initiative, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to communicate important information clearly Valid driver's license with a good driving record Join Our Team Interested candidates are encouraged to apply.
