Duties Assist in opening and closing the store, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately and efficiently Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and creating a welcoming shopping experience Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge Oversee POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, pricing adjustments, and sales reporting Monitor inventory levels, perform stock replenishment, and coordinate purchasing to maintain product availability Enforce store policies related to alcohol sales regulations and responsible service practices Handle cash register operations with accuracy and accountability during shifts Support recruiting efforts by interviewing potential candidates and participating in onboarding processes Maintain organized records of sales, payroll, bookkeeping activities, and operational reports Qualifications Proven supervisory or managerial experience within retail or grocery stores, preferably in alcohol or specialty retail environments Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, inventory control, merchandising, and POS systems Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively Demonstrated proficiency in basic math, retail math calculations, budgeting, and cash handling procedures Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs is preferred Familiarity with retail industry sales team management practices and operational management principles Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of liquor laws and responsible alcohol service regulations is an advantage Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards of customer service and safety Join us as a Key Holder Liquor Store leader where your enthusiasm for retail management combined with your dedication to excellent service will help us create memorable shopping experiences for our customers.
