Responsibilities Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to company policies. Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members while providing ongoing training and development opportunities. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential. Oversee sales management strategies, including pricing, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives. Handle payroll processing, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems operation, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy. Implement operational procedures for purchasing, inventory management, and store maintenance to ensure efficiency. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, supervision, and leadership in shift management. Experience Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising sales teams and managing store operations. Demonstrated ability in recruiting, employee orientation, training & development, and team management. Strong skills in negotiation, customer service excellence, and managerial communication. Experience with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for financial transactions. Prior experience in grocery or retail stores is highly desirable; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Knowledge of retail math concepts such as pricing strategies, budgeting, and sales analysis is essential. Previous assistant manager or supervisory roles that involved operational management and merchandising are preferred.
