If you would like to apply please email your resume to Finishing Manager (2nd Shift) We are a Litho-Laminated box manufacturer in Paterson, NJ. We are seeking a 2nd Shift Manager for our Finishing Department. Department with work hours being (3:00PM- 12:00AM, Monday-Friday). This position is responsible for the overall production process of the department and the supervision of the Finishing Department personnel. Job Functions Ensure compliance with all Safety Rules and procedures for staff and workplace. Coordinate workflow, scheduling glue machines to maximize efficiency, and monitor quality control. Update gluing schedule calculating whether a job is on hand while assessing possible customer service failures. Create specs using job bags to decide best way to glue and pack product for customers. Meet department production and waste-control targets. Enter production entries, corrugated consumption and close jobs. Manage and control inventory and purchasing of department supplies. Maintain and train personnel to follow company procedures for department in addition to scheduling vacation and sick time coverage, including hiring and firing. Assist adjusters/ crews with glue production problems and ensure adjuster maintain equipment and work areas organized Schedule internal preventative maintenance and external mechanic services. Reporting problems to maintenance department for repairs. Job Qualifications High school degree Supervisory experience in manufacturing environment of (3-5 yrs.) in corrugated box company or equivalent industry. Ability to work, plan, and execute in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Must know Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish is a must Compensation Base Salary (based on level of experience) Profit Sharing and Annual Performance Bonus
