Eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law About the Role Florida Coin Graders, Inc. d/b/a Independent Coin Graders is seeking a detail-oriented Production Department Manager to lead daily production operations at our Carle Place, New York location. This role supervises production workflow and staff, supports quality control and inventory processes, coordinates with our Florida-based administrative team, and helps ensure accurate, secure, and timely handling of customer coin products. Responsibilities- Lead, assign, and monitor daily production workflow and team productivity
- Coordinate order intake, production scheduling, and communication with the Florida team
- Oversee labeling, serialized-item matching, quality-control checks, and closeout processes
- Support customer communication regarding order status and production schedules
- Train and support production staff on procedures, safety, quality, and product
- security expectations
- Track production supplies, coin-handling materials, and office inventory
- Track time-off information for payroll reporting
- Maintain a secure, organized, and efficient work environment
- Help identify and resolve production, quality, inventory, and customer-service issues Qualifications
- Two or more years of production, operations, quality control, inventory, logistics, or related experience preferred
- Prior team-lead, supervisory, or training experience preferred
- Strong organization, accuracy, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; QuickBooks experience is a plus
- Ability to follow and communicate production, safety, and quality-control requirements in English
- Ability to reliably report to the Carle Place worksite for scheduled shifts
