. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Team Leader (Keyholder) to join our retail management team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a keyholder responsible for opening and closing the store, supervising daily operations, and leading a retail sales team to deliver exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, operational expertise, and a passion for retail excellence. Responsibilities Assume responsibility for opening and closing the store, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately and securely. Lead, motivate, and supervise retail staff to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service. Conduct employee orientation, training, and ongoing development to enhance team performance. Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and stock control to optimize product availability. Manage daily store operations such as cash handling, POS transactions, pricing adjustments, and bookkeeping tasks. Implement effective sales strategies through merchandising and promotional activities to increase revenue. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Assist with recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing prospective employees. Maintain operational efficiency by managing scheduling, budgeting, and payroll processes. Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and store procedures. Support assistant managers in implementing sales management initiatives and operational improvements. Requirements Proven supervisory experience within the retail industry, including managing sales teams and shift operations. Strong knowledge of retail management systems such as POS (Point of Sale) software and inventory control tools. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively across diverse audiences; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, customer service excellence, and managerial communication. Experience in recruiting, training & development, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and inventory management. Basic math proficiency for cash handling, pricing adjustments, and sales calculations. Familiarity with retail industry sales techniques, merchandising standards, and operational management practices. Ability to manage time effectively while prioritizing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills coupled with leadership qualities that foster team engagement and store success.
