Responsibilities Assist the Store Manager in supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. Lead and motivate retail sales teams to meet and exceed sales targets through effective coaching and training. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation and availability. Oversee cashiering functions, including cash handling, POS system management, and ensuring accurate transactions. Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates, employee orientation, and onboarding processes. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high satisfaction levels. Monitor store safety protocols, enforce policies, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the restaurant/retail industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills, including managerial communication and phone etiquette. Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math skills for pricing and cash handling. Demonstrated ability in sales management, merchandising, purchasing, and operational oversight. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Experience in retail food or online sales environments is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing time effectively.
