A Department Manager manages a department in a large retail store. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.
Plan, manage, and control Toledo Plant budgets for sales margins and expenses, control management, cost controlling, accounting, and information system. Use SAP ERP Finance (FI), Controlling (CO) and Material Management (MM) modules and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) tool to retrieve Profit and Loss (P&L) reports to analyze and validate plant sales and expenses, and report monthly forecasts, future year budgets, and five-year strategic plan for sales and expenses. Perform variance analysis and Profit and Loss (P&L) bridges for Actual versus Budget, Forecast, and Prior Year for plant scopes and document root causes and corrective actions for deviations in expenses. Prepare, submit, and enter monthly consolidated plant headcount and expense data for plant Manufacturing, (Painting, Injection, and Assembly), Finance, Human Resources, Purchasing, and Industrial departments in the company portal. Supervise Cost Controller (bachelor's degree in business administration) on controlling Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); Accountant (bachelor's degree in accounting) to assure account-keeping; and IT Supervisor (bachelor's degree in IT field) and information system operation.
Education:
Bachelor, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related.
Experience:
Twenty-four months' experience as Controller or related, using SAP ERP Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Material Management (MM) modules and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) tool to retrieve Profit and Loss (P&L) reports to analyze and validate department, business unit, or plant sales and expenses, and report monthly forecasts, future year budgets, and five year strategic plan for sales and expenses, or related.
