Role Summary This role combines luxury jewelry sales , precious‑metals expertise , and emerging leadership responsibilities . You will assist customers with jewelry purchases, gold/silver transactions, and high‑value appraisals while developing the skills needed to supervise staff, manage inventory, and support store operations. This is an ideal role for someone who has worked in jewelry retail , jewelry appraisal , fine‑goods sales , or high‑trust financial transactions , and wants a path towards a manager position . Key ResponsibilitiesJewelry & Precious Metals Sales Provide expert guidance on jewelry pieces, gemstones, metals, and craftsmanship. Assist customers with gold, silver, coin, and bullion purchases or sales. Educate clients on product quality, pricing, and market trends. Deliver a warm, trustworthy, relationship‑driven sales experience. Client Experience & Relationship Building Build long-term client relationships through personalized service and follow-up. Maintain a calm, professional presence during high-value transactions. Handle sensitive customer situations with discretion and integrity. Operational & Managerial Development Support daily store operations including opening/closing procedures. Assist with inventory management, including receiving, counting, and securing high-value items. Learn and uphold security protocols for precious metals and jewelry. Participate in training new associates and supporting team performance. Contribute to merchandising, display standards, and store presentation. Appraisal & Transaction Support Perform basic jewelry assessments (stones, settings, condition). Assist with evaluating gold/silver purity and authenticity (training provided). Prepare accurate documentation for purchases, sales, and customer records.

Qualifications Preferred:

1-3 years jewelry retail, luxury goods, pawn/jewelry appraisal, or precious‑metals experience. Strong customer service and sales skills with a relationship-first mindset. High integrity and comfort handling high-value inventory and cash transactions. Excellent communication and professionalism. Willingness to learn metals testing, grading, and appraisal processes.
