The Coffee Table is a new neighborhood café in downtown Carlisle built around great coffee, fresh food, wellness-inspired drinks and creating a warm, welcoming place for our community. We're looking for an experienced Store Manager who loves coffee, food and people — and wants to help us build something special in Carlisle. As Store Manager, you'll be the face of The Coffee Table during your shift. You'll open and close the café, lead a Store Assistant during our busiest hours, prepare drinks and food, get to know our customers and make sure the café runs smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being part barista, part cook, part host and part leader. What You'll Do

• Open and close the café
• Take responsibility for the store during your shift
• Lead and work alongside a Store Assistant during busy hours
• Welcome customers and create a friendly, memorable experience
• Get to know our regulars and help build a strong connection with the Carlisle community
• Prepare high-quality espresso, coffee and specialty drinks
• Prepare and cook food from our café menu
• Take customer orders and operate the register
• Manage cash and basic opening and closing procedures
• Maintain consistent quality and presentation of drinks and food
• Keep the café clean, stocked and organized
• Manage workflow and priorities during busy periods
• Train and coach Store Assistants on drinks, service and store standards
• Handle customer questions and concerns
• Follow food safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards
• Make sure the café is ready for the next day's business What We're Looking For Previous barista and foodservice experience are required. We're looking for someone who:
• Has experience making espresso and coffee drinks
• Has experience preparing and cooking food in a café, restaurant or similar environment
• Understands food safety and cleanliness standards
• Is comfortable opening and closing a café or restaurant
• Can lead another team member and keep things moving during busy periods
• Is dependable, organized and comfortable taking ownership of the shift
• Is warm, outgoing and genuinely enjoys talking with customers
• Stays calm and positive when things get busy
• Takes pride in great service, great drinks and great food
• Enjoys getting to know regular customers and being part of the local community
• Is available for early mornings and some weekends Previous shift-lead or supervisory experience is preferred, but strong barista and foodservice experience combined with the right attitude and leadership skills are most important.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
