Job Description
GreenLife United, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit with a mission to support the environment (Green) and basic human needs (Life) in the local community. The business currently has two locations in Mount Holly Springs and New Cumberland, each operating as a thrift store, donation center, and small food bank.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
- Monitor and maintain store appearance, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving merchandise, and conducting regular stock checks.
- Handle cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and reconciling sales transactions.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement store policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent retail sales skills with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to effectively lead and manage a team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Proficiency in cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
