DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position serves as a lead worker to help ensure smooth store operations. Responsibilities combine collaboration between store management and other staff with friendliness and attention to details that create top-notch customer service. As a Sales Team Lead, you will perform the following duties:Shift Leadership:
Guide daily store functions and provide training and support to other clerksCustomer Assistance:
Help customers locate what they are looking for, resolve problems, and find new product optionsSales Transactions:
Operate a computerized cash register, complete sales accurately, and follow legal guidelines for the sale of alcoholDaily Reporting:
Complete shift reports including accounting, inventory, and cash managementStock Management:
Unload shipments, stock shelves, build product displays, lift and move products safelyStore Readiness:
Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming for all customers and staffWork Schedule and Additional Information:

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Six months of retail sales work.Other Requirements:

You must pass a background investigation.
