Range Operations Coordinator / Key Holder Freedom Firearms / Pocono Pistol Range — Stroudsburg, PA Position Summary The Range Operations Coordinator is a trusted operational and key-holder position combining range safety, customer service, retail sales, and day-to-day facility responsibilities. This position requires strong judgment, reliability, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to handle routine operational situations independently. The Coordinator is expected to be capable of supporting all normal range and retail operations while also accepting responsibility for assigned opening, closing, security, and facility procedures. This is a key-holder position but is not the same as the Team Supervisor position and does not inherently include responsibility for supervising employees. Duties & Responsibilities Perform customer-service, sales, operational, and range-safety responsibilities associated with daily range operations. Perform Range Safety Officer duties when required. Provide knowledgeable assistance with firearms, accessories, range services, memberships, rentals, and related products. Operate point-of-sale and other business systems accurately. Complete required records and paperwork accurately and consistently. Assist with inventory, receiving, stocking, merchandising, and product organization. Serve as an authorized company key holder. Perform assigned opening and closing procedures. Follow facility-access, alarm, cash-handling, and security procedures. Verify that required opening and closing tasks have been properly completed. Address routine operational problems independently within company policies and established authority. Recognize situations requiring management notification or approval and escalate appropriately. Handle customer concerns professionally and assist with resolving escalated situations. Maintain safety, security, cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness throughout the facility. Perform cleaning, restocking, trash removal, and routine facility-upkeep responsibilities. Document and communicate unusual incidents, discrepancies, customer concerns, or operational problems as required. Support coworkers and other areas of the business as operational needs require. Qualifications & Expectations Demonstrated reliability, maturity, and sound judgment. Firearms experience and strong understanding of firearm safety. NRA Range Safety Officer certification or willingness and ability to obtain required certification. Ability and willingness to perform Range Safety Officer duties. Strong customer-service and sales ability. Comfortable enforcing policies and addressing unsafe or inappropriate behavior. Strong attention to detail. Intermediate or better computer skills. Ability to accurately follow opening, closing, security, and cash-handling procedures. Ability to make appropriate decisions without constant management direction. Ability to distinguish between matters that can be handled independently and those requiring management involvement. Strong communication and organizational skills. Consistent attendance and punctuality. Ability to appropriately handle access to company facilities, systems, and information. Availability Regular weekend availability is required, including open-to-close availability on Saturdays . Applicants must also maintain availability through closing on at least two additional days per week. Holiday availability may be required when the business is open.
