- Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead operations at their Williamsport, PA location in a full-time, direct hire role.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster a collaborative relationship with the store operations team and communicate pharmacy strategies to associates. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance. Manage pharmacy operations to grow prescription volume and profitability, utilizing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Align department performance with key metrics and provide exceptional customer service including healthcare counseling. Supervise pharmacy staff, including training, coaching, and discipline. Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness. Address customer questions and issues to build trust and loyalty. Interact with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and resolve issues. Oversee inventory management including cycle counts and will-calls.Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree. Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
Schedule:
10-hour shifts: typically 9:00 AM- 7:00 PM 11-hour shifts: typically 9:00 AM
- 8:00 PM 12-hour shifts: 8:00 AM
- 8:00 PM or 9:00 AM
- 9:00 PM Variable Day/Afternoon shifts 69 hours bi-weekly This is a direct hire opportunity with competitive compensation.
