Responsible for managing store operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. Ensures store compliance with policies, maintains safety standards, and drives sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees; conduct performance evaluations and provide training. Manage store opening and closing, staffing levels, and safety protocols. Analyze operational data to identify trends, control expenses, and optimize inventory. Ensure proper merchandise presentation, stock levels, and accurate inventory control. Maintain financial integrity through cash handling and security procedures. Lead customer service efforts and uphold store cleanliness and safety standards. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and documentation procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Ability to interpret operational documents and perform basic math. Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in recruiting, training, and managing staff, with knowledge of legal compliance. Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities. Bilingual skills may be preferred for some locations.
Experience & Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Management experience in retail is advantageous.
Physical & Working Conditions:
Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 40-55 pounds, and occasional climbing. Requires driving to attend meetings and perform store-related tasks in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels.
