May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

Overview Join our dynamic team as a 2nd Assistant Manager and play a vital role in driving store success through effective leadership, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your managerial skills while supporting daily store functions. As a key team member, you will assist in managing staff, optimizing sales, and ensuring smooth store operations to create a welcoming environment for both customers and employees. Responsibilities Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations, including sales management, inventory control, and customer service standards. Assist in supervising staff, providing coaching and training to enhance team performance and ensure adherence to company policies. Participate in recruiting efforts by conducting interviews and onboarding new employees, emphasizing employee orientation and development. Manage cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and cashiering activities with accuracy and integrity. Oversee inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing adjustments, and stock organization to maximize sales opportunities. Contribute to operational management by assisting with budgeting, sales tracking, reporting, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Support shift management duties by coordinating schedules, supervising team members during shifts, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Qualifications Strong leadership skills Excellent communication skills, including managerial communication and phone etiquette. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations. Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently while demonstrating organizational skills and time management. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Knowledge of retail math, merchandising, purchasing, pricing strategies, and operational procedures is highly desirable.
