The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in retail management. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring excellent customer service. You will play a crucial role in recruiting, training, and developing staff while managing inventory and maintaining store standards. We are seeking Manager in Training for our Oxford, Mississippi location Duties Lead and manage store operations to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Recruit, interview, and train new employees, ensuring effective employee orientation. Supervise staff performance and provide ongoing training & development opportunities. Manage payroll, bookkeeping, and budgetary responsibilities to maintain financial health. Oversee inventory management including ordering, receiving, stocking, and inventory control. Implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and sales. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations. Handle cash management tasks including cash handling, cashiering duties, and POS operations. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management. Utilize retail math for pricing strategies and sales analysis to drive profitability. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with supervisory experience. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse customers; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. Proficient in inventory management systems and retail POS technology. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in training & development of staff members to enhance team performance. Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to retail sales environments. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends as needed.
