Print Shop Supervisor Alphagraphics Addison Addison, TX Job Details Full-time $18 - $23 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Digital printing Management Machine operation Production management Layout design Printing facility experience Full Job Description Overview Print Shop Supervisor is a hands on supervisor position that actively participates in the digital printing process and drives the inquiry-to-production steps. The position requires extensive experience in digital printing and large format printing. Responsibilities Receive the production folder from customer. Make the customer design ready for printing in suitable format Utilize Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design, layout design, and prepress preparation. Use Fiery or other software to send the job to the printer. Operate commercial cutter to cut the printed sheets in appropriate sizes. Operate other machines required during the production process. Execute Pre-Press checks and adjust to make the file print ready. Manage the workload according to the delivery dates for different order. Interact with customers for estimating and design refinements. Skills Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop. Expertise in making the art print ready according the size requirements. Expertise in manual or automatic cutting of printed material in appropriate formats. Skilled in using Fiery or similar print job management program Skilled in large format printing and installation of designs on windows or walls.
