WE'RE HIRING

Opening Manager-on-Duty! South Davis Recreation Center is looking for an early-bird leader to join our team as our Opening Manager-on-Duty!

Schedule:

2-4 shifts Monday-Friday, 4:15am-9:00am (shifts may vary with events)

Position:

Part-time, non-benefitted

Pay:

$16/hr + $2 weekend shift differential Duties Open and secure the facility each morning Supervise part-time staff (lifeguards, cashiers, instructors & more) Provide top-notch customer service to our patrons Handle front desk/cashier duties as needed Keep the facility clean, safe, and running smoothly Respond to any first aid needs, incidents and file reports as required Experience High school diploma/equivalent 18+ years old Strong communication & problem-solving skills Comfortable with basic computer programs (Word, Excel) Willing to obtain Red Cross First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days of hire Experience in shift or operational management Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in fast-paced environments Strong proficiency or willingness to learn point of sale systems Experience in cash handling, customer service, conflict resolution and de-escalation Previous key holder, assistant manager or supervisory experience is highly desirable Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to make sound managerial decisions quickly and effectively If you're a morning person who loves leading a team and creating a great experience for our community, we'd love to have you on board!
