Job Description

CABINET & MILLWORK SHOP SPECIALTY SUPERVISOR
Come join our team in helping take a client's design concept and making it a reality. We specialize in creating reception desks, 3-D wall panels, custom pieces, die walls, countertops, specialty tables with metal accents and complex structures for hotels, restaurants, store fronts, TI's, and other commercial projects. Your schedule is 7:00 am
  • 3:45 pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
  • Follows core values & motto of excellence
  • Supervise, direct, provide quality control, and lead team by coordinating schedule, daily tasks, shop operations, including cutting, machining, sanding, assembly, and finishing
  • Ability to assemble and work with laminate, veneer panels, and build custom pieces
  • Train and develop team to ensure high performance and skill growth
  • Ability to learn, run and maintain cabinet shop equipment including CNC router, saws, edge bander, sander, etc.
  • Ensure shop cleanliness and safety standards are being met
  • Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting and proper use of equipment
  • Oversee product quality and ensure adherence to maintain AWI standards
  • Take ownership with production schedules to meet deadlines and customer requests
  • Collaborate with specialty, design and operations teams to resolve production issues
Experience:
  • Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings and work orders
  • Ability to read a measuring tape and operate hand tools and saws required for production
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to be on feet most of the day
Qualifications:
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience; millwork operations experience
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, tools, and materials
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Must be dependable and reliable
  • Must be able to pass background and random drug tests
Compensation:
  • Full time (hourly), $25
  • 30 per hour
  • compensation depends upon experience
Pay:
$25.00
  • $30.
00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
