Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our water management company's fleet and yard. This role involves managing equipment, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities in the field, and maintaining operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of coordinating various logistical aspects to support our field teams effectively. Responsibilities Manage and oversee the maintenance, repair, and proper storage of company fleet vehicles and equipment. Supervise the yard operations, including organization, safety compliance, and inventory management. Coordinate daily needs of field teams, ensuring they have the necessary equipment and resources for their tasks. Schedule and track vehicle servicing, inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records related to fleet usage, maintenance logs, and inventory supplies. Enforce safety protocols within the yard and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Collaborate with other departments to facilitate efficient workflow and resource allocation. Monitor operational costs related to fleet management and identify opportunities for improvements. Experience Proven experience in managing a fleet or yard operations within a similar industry or environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic setting. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and safety standards is preferred. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with field teams and vendors. Ability to problem-solve quickly and adapt to changing operational needs. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
