Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Working Shop Manager to lead our automotive workshop operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily shop activities, coordinate maintenance and repair tasks, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Your leadership will drive efficiency, foster a collaborative team environment, and uphold our commitment to exceptional vehicle service. Responsibilities Manage daily shop operations, including scheduling repairs, assigning tasks to technicians, and monitoring workflow to meet deadlines. Oversee vehicle maintenance, auto body repair, and restoration projects ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently. Supervise the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed at all times. Maintain high standards of automotive service quality by inspecting work and providing guidance on complex repairs. Coordinate inventory management for parts, tools, and supplies necessary for shop operations. Train and mentor team members on mechanical procedures, safety practices, and the proper use of tools and equipment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards to create a safe working environment for all staff. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and auto restoration. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively. Experience with vehicle maintenance procedures across various makes and models. Knowledge of auto body repair techniques and automotive service standards. Mechanic experience that includes diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting inspections. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coordinate a team efficiently under pressure. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
