A Retail Associate Manager assists the manager at a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. Supervises sales associates and retail store operations. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. May prepare work schedules and hire, train and evaluate sales associates. May supervise warehouse, cleaning, maintenance or security staff. Assists with resolving customer complaints.

Job Description

Assistant Team Leads report directly to the Team Leader and General Manager, providing Five-Star service to internal team members and guests via phone and in person. This role supports and maintains follow-up and follow-through on all procedures across Neroli Salon & Spa North Shore. We are committed to creating an environment that is caring, compassionate, and dedicated to uplifting others. Essential Job Functions Greet guests and provide a Five-Star guest experience Discover guest needs and assist in purchasing products Conduct retail store operations, including execution of the Aveda Service Wheel Accurately schedule reservations and check guests out using Zenoti Maintain and stay current on products and services, including timing, benefits, and pricing Attend and participate in meetings with the General Manager and other team members Maintain professional and effective written and verbal communication with guests and all team members Participate in personal and team goal setting Assist leadership by opening and closing the location, and delegating downtime tasks Other duties as assigned by leadership What We're Looking For A collaborative team player with strong communication and organizational skills Brings a positive outlook, personal integrity, and confidence to their work; understands the "value" of each guest and strives to be a "Day Maker" Self-disciplined, goal-oriented, and professional, with strong follow-through and a commitment to continuing education Required Qualifications Previous salon/spa or retail experience preferred Strong knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, product and service offerings, including pricing and benefits Comfortable using scheduling and POS systems (e.g., Zenoti) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
