This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, enjoys analyzing performance metrics, and is passionate about improving sales results through data, accountability, and collaboration. The Product Sales Assistant Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day sales performance across multiple product lines, partnering closely with department managers to monitor production, lead management, conversion rates, sales projections, and overall team performance. This individual will help identify opportunities for growth, implement sales strategies, and ensure accountability throughout the sales process. In addition to driving sales performance initiatives, this position will assist with operational planning, reporting, project coordination, and strategic initiatives that support the continued growth of the sales organization. Key Responsibilities Sales Performance & Operations Partner with the Product Sales Operations Manager to oversee daily sales performance across multiple product departments. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production to ensure sales goals and KPIs are achieved. Analyze sales trends, conversion rates, close ratios, lead performance, and productivity metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. Work closely with department managers to drive accountability and execute sales strategies that improve performance. Review sales pipelines, lead management processes, follow-up activities, and conversion metrics to maximize sales opportunities. Monitor lead distribution, response times, and lead quality to ensure efficient sales execution. Assist in developing sales projections, forecasting, capacity planning, and performance reporting. Identify sales bottlenecks and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, productivity, and revenue. Assist in creating and executing sales contests, incentive programs, and performance initiatives. Participate in sales meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews with department managers. Ensure CRM data integrity, reporting accuracy, and adherence to sales processes. Sales Operations & Administrative Support Prepare executive-level sales reports, dashboards, scorecards, and KPI summaries. Track departmental initiatives, projects, timelines, and strategic priorities. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and ensure timely follow-up. Support operational planning and collaboration across departments. Maintain organized documentation of contracts, proposals, pricing, and sales materials. Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting processes, and operational efficiencies. Communicate professionally with internal teams & leadership. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Sales, Sales Management, Performance Management, or a related leadership role. Previous experience supporting high-volume sales teams and performance-driven environments. Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and provide actionable recommendations. Experience using CRM platforms and sales reporting tools. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. High level of professionalism, accountability, and discretion. Preferred Experience Experience supporting multiple sales departments or product lines. Strong understanding of lead generation, lead management, sales funnel optimization, and conversion strategies. Experience building sales dashboards, forecasting models, and executive performance reports. Insurance or financial services experience is preferred but not required.
