Full Job Description Job Description Leo Hamel Fine Jewelers, a successful, upscale jewelry store serving San Diego County for over 46 years, is looking to hire an energetic and detail oriented Administrative Sales Assistant. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of high-end retail customer service experience in jewelry or other luxury goods (clothing, accessories, handbags, shoes, cars, etc.). Knowledge about diamonds, jewelry, and/or Swiss watches is a plus. He or she is reliable, enthusiastic, has an outgoing personality and enjoys working in a very fast paced environment. The candidate is experienced and comfortable contacting customers by phone, letters and email. Must be able to work in a very high volume, demanding jewelry retail store setting.

Requirements:

2+ years of high-end retail experience Enjoy customer interaction Computer literacy A background check is required. A vailid Driver's license is required. High stress tolerance – Able to thrive in a high pressure environment GIA Graduate, or Jewelry Retail Experience a huge plus!

This position will include:

• Helping customers at the sales counter when your salesperson is busy.
• Assisting our sales staff with ringing out customers.
• Checking in and out customer merchandise for repair.
• Contacting customers via phone, letters and email This position does not include selling or commissions.
