Job Description

Diamond Fasteners is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our sales team and help ensure accurate, timely processing of customer and supplier information. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable managing detailed information, and takes initiative to follow through on open items. The Sales Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the sales function, including maintaining accurate records, entering and updating information in company systems, tracking outstanding items, and following up with supply chain partners. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team to help ensure timely and accurate execution of customer requirements. Enter, update, and maintain customer, order, supplier, and other business information within company systems. Prepare, organize, and review documents and information for accurate data entry and processing. Create and maintain logs, reports, and tracking tools to monitor open items and follow-up activities. Review information for accuracy and completeness and identify discrepancies requiring additional research or correction. Communicate data issues, discrepancies, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor or team member. Follow up with supply chain and purchasing contacts regarding outstanding information, order status, availability, or other items needed to support customer requests. Assist with maintaining organized and accurate electronic and/or physical records. Coordinate with internal departments to obtain information and resolve routine issues. Support the sales team with additional administrative projects and activities as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in sales support, customer service, data entry, administrative support, or a related role preferred. Strong data entry and typing skills with a high degree of accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel; intermediate Excel skills preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records. Ability to identify discrepancies and proactively follow up to resolve outstanding items. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated and dependable with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. What Success Looks Like A successful Sales Assistant is organized, responsive, and proactive. You will help keep information accurate, ensure outstanding items are followed through to completion, and provide reliable support that allows the sales team to respond effectively to customers and keep orders moving forward. Pay $20.00-$24.00 per hour, negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications. This position may also be eligible for an incentive plan based on individual performance and company meeting defined targets.
