Job Description
Description We are looking for a Sales Support specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This role supports sales operations by managing customer inquiries, coordinating order activity, and helping maintain a smooth experience from initial contact through post-sale follow-up. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming customer and sales team requests with timely, accurate information and practical support.
- Assist with order entry by reviewing details, processing documentation, and helping ensure records are complete and correct.
- Provide post-sale assistance by coordinating follow-up activities, resolving routine issues, and supporting customer satisfaction efforts.
- Partner with internal sales contacts to track account activity, prepare updates, and keep opportunities moving forward.
- Support both inbound and outbound sales efforts through outreach, correspondence, and follow-up with customers or prospects.
- Maintain organized sales records, customer data, and order documentation to help ensure operational accuracy.
- Help identify and address service or process issues that may affect order flow, communication, or client experience. Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in sales support, inside sales, customer service, or a closely related function.
- Hands-on experience with order entry and administrative support tied to sales activity.
- Working knowledge of post-sales support processes and customer follow-up practices.
- Ability to manage inbound and outbound communication professionally and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with close attention to accuracy and detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in a business environment.
- Comfortable handling multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-moving setting.
