ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Promote and sell merchandise displayed in the designated holiday gift area. Keep the holiday gift area neat, organized, and stocked with merchandise. Work directly with internal and external customers. Apply knowledge of methods for showing, promoting, and selling products. Use excellent customer relations skills. Assist customers with "cash & carry" orders. Process credit card transactions for gift sales. Perform any other duties as directed by management.

EDUCATIONS AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift merchandise of 40 lbs. Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time. Must be able to listen and respond to customers' needs. Ability to communicate effectively with team members. Sales experience preferred, not required. Positive attitude when working with internal and external customers. Knowledge of employment and safety procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, typing, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work:

Lifting up to 40lbs rarely and10 lbs occasionally to move objects.
