About the Position We are seeking friendly, confident, and sales-driven agents to connect with prospective pet owners/customers and help them take the first step toward a happier, more peaceful relationship with their dogs. As a Sales Agent, you'll speak with pet owners who are actively looking for help, listen to their concerns, learn about the challenges they are experiencing with their dog, and confidently explain how the client's training services may meet their needs. Key Responsibilities As a Sales Agent, you'll connect with prospective customers, understand their needs, and help match them with the right training services. The ideal candidates are personable, persuasive, compassionate, and comfortable asking for the sale, while ensuring every pet owner feels confident about taking the next step. Respond to prospective customer inquiries and provide clear, helpful information about the client's services Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate training services and packages Convert inquiries into booked training services while meeting established sales goals Build rapport and provide a positive, professional, and supportive customer experience Accurately document customer interactions, appointments, and sales activity Follow up with prospective customers to answer questions, overcome objections, and maximize sales opportunities Requirements Must have a passion for animals Must be a self-starter Must demonstrate a passion for providing outstanding service Dependability and strong attention to detail Must maintain composure across a variety of customer and peer interactions Experience working in a team environment (i.e., cooperating with coworkers, joint problem-solving, etc.) Routinely demonstrates strong listening skills and attentiveness to the needs of those you assist Excellent verbal communication skills, including correct grammar and pronunciation, along with appropriate tone and pitch Strong communication skills and confidence discussing services, overcoming objections, and asking for the sale Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced contact center environment Ability to remain calm while handling multiple consecutive calls Ability to pay attention to detail and multitask while navigating multiple programs and handling diverse information Ability to use a computer quickly and accurately Must possess the ability to remain poised in high-stress situations Must be willing to pursue and achieve goals and overcome challenges Ability to be flexible and handle changes efficiently Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook Office products Additional Requirements Proven sales experience with demonstrated success meeting sales goals Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check, which is paid for by Direct Interactions Shifts Agent must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week The call center hours of operation are as follows:
