Pursue testing of existing products when needed. Collaborate cross departmentally to share best practices & support key departmental initiatives. Serve as a subject matter expert/technical support to the sales team and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Develop detailed part and assembly drawings for products and equipment.  Perform engineering change processes as necessary to support existing product lines.  Create 3-D models and 2-D drawings.  Experience using SolidWorks, or similar, design software.  Ability to perform mechanical design calculations.  Calculates material quality & quantity and recommends components for purchasing decision review.  Test prototypes, equipment, and new products and report findings.  Develop technical documentation.  Create user manuals.  Maintenance of large machinery.  Technical support.

OTHER QUALIFICATION

 Analytical skills and the ability to solve problems.  Ability to multitask effectively.  Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers at all levels of the organization as well as external parties to successfully meet project goals.  Proactively share best practices and resources with coworkers.  Ensure operating and quality control procedures are in place and in use.  Strong verbal and written communication skills.
