extension support Equifax's US Information Solutions (USIS) business unit is seeking a Solution Engineer to join our Identity and Fraud Services team driving growth payments fraud detection and prevention, identity verification, chargeback management, and regulatory compliance sectors. The Solutions Engineer role is a vital part of the sales process, acting as the primary technical expert and product advocate. This position involves actively managing the technology evaluation stage at pre-sales, providing technical advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Solutions Engineer must effectively communicate technology and product positioning to various audiences, identify technical issues, and build strong relationships throughout the sales cycle. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone who thrives on assisting customers quickly and successfully solve problems, and who's passionate about playing a pivotal part in moving our business forward. This position could be hybrid from our downtown Boise office or remote for non-local candidates. What you will do Act as a translator of our Customer's Analytics and Technical environments Support Account Executives and Solution Specialists in identifying, proposing, and closing Customer-value-driving solutions Build go-to relationships with key analytics and technology influencers and buyers within Customer organization Connect the Customer's analytics and technical environments to potential Equifax solutions Foster strong working relationships with client technical and economic buyers Develop deep knowledge of business, analytics, and technical environment in which covered Accounts operate Support Account Executives and Solution Specialists in value-based product and solution presentations and demonstrations Proactively identify and design data, analytics, and/or technical analyses to identify and qualify new sales opportunities Help Solution Specialists identify use cases and shape Customer-relevant demos Establish key analytic and/or technical relationships on the client side and be viewed as a trusted adviser What experience you need Bachelor's degree and or relevant years of Industry experience (risk, data, credit, vertical) 5-7 years of related sales or sales consulting experience Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling business language Exceptional presentation, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a consultative approach to understanding and addressing customer challenges Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements and industry events (a few times a month) What could set you apart Masters or advanced degree preferred Experience in technical sales Working knowledge of e-commerce and payments ecosystems Demonstrated ability to build relationships with a variety of different people and personality types Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a proven track record of exceeding targets Positive and professional nature over the phone, through email, and in person or Google Meet displaying excellent oral and written English communication skills Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $102,000.00 to $130,000.00. This position is also eligible for our sales incentive compensation program.
