Inside Sales Engineer Environmental Comfort Columbus, OH Job Details 17 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Project coordination Full Job Description For over 25 years, Environmental Comfort has designed and delivered Engineered HVAC Solutions, LEED & USGBC Projects, Laboratory Environments, Data Center Cooling Solutions, Commercial HVAC, Institutional HVAC, Natatorium HVAC, Industrial Process & HVAC, and more. The Inside Sales Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by managing various aspects of project take-offs, budgetary pricing, warranty tracking, shipment monitoring, customer support, documentation, and reporting. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities to ensure seamless coordination and enhance overall sales effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Take-Offs:
Collaborate with the sales team to assess project requirements accurately. Create detailed take-offs utilizing project plans and specifications.Budgetary Pricing:
Work closely with the sales team to prepare budgetary pricing for projects. Provide timely and accurate quotations based on project specifications.Warranty Tracking:
Maintain a comprehensive warranty tracking system. Coordinate with manufacturers to ensure timely processing of warranty claims.Shipment Tracking:
Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery. Communicate with logistics and shipping partners to resolve any issues.Customer Support:
Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns. Provide exceptional customer support by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly.Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain organized records of project take-offs, budgetary pricing, warranty claims, and shipment details. Generate regular reports for the sales team lead, highlighting key performance metrics.Collaboration:
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Assist in the development of strategies to enhance overall sales effectivenessContinuous Improvement:
Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency. Proactively contribute to the enhancement of sales support procedures. This position supports a sales team and may require additional administrative duties such as internal reporting and customer event coordination.
