Power Solutions Manager Pay

About the Role The Power Solutions Manager is responsible for promoting and providing technical sales support for EVAPAR's Industrial Power Generation products, with a focus on Generac's Modular Power System (MPS), large kW systems, and Clean Energy solutions. This position works closely with EVAPAR Sales Representatives, electrical engineering firms, and other key industry partners to help develop projects, influence product specifications, and support successful project completion. The Power Solutions Manager will also provide technical education and training to the electrical engineering community.
Location:
Louisville, Kentucky is the preferred location for this position; however, we are open to considering qualified candidates based in Evansville, Indianapolis, or St. Louis. The position is based out of an EVAPAR office and requires some travel throughout the territory for customer visits, engineering meetings, project support, training, and other business needs. Responsibilities Identify key engineering firms and develop strategies to establish relationships, educate engineering teams, and influence product specifications around Generac solutions or acceptance of Generac as an approved equal. Educate engineering firms on Generac's Modular Power System paralleling concepts and the value of working with EVAPAR and Generac. Promote and provide technical sales support for Generac Industrial products, with a particular focus on Modular Power System solutions. Assist EVAPAR Sales Representatives with specific projects and work directly with engineering firms to support product specification and sourcing. Develop the EVAPAR geographical territory through strategic use of sales tools and resources, including PDSS, fly-ins, customer visits, Engineering Symposiums, and Power Design Pro. Conduct training seminars and educational presentations for the electrical engineering community using established curriculum and resources. Provide real-time voice-of-customer feedback to Sales Management to help identify market needs and opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering firms throughout territory, along with additional industry partners. Stay current on product offerings, technologies, applications, and industry trends. Ideal Candidate Qualities Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in engineering, technical sales, or a related field. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred. Experience with power generation, generators, or engine-generator paralleling preferred. Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand and communicate complex power generation concepts. Comfortable presenting technical information to engineers, contractors, customers, and other professional audiences. Strong relationship-building and communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the EVAPAR sales team. Willingness to travel regularly within the EVAPAR territory.
