Collins Aerospace Integrated Product Support is seeking a seasoned Lifecycle Logistics/Supportability Engineer to perform product support engineering analyses and planning tasks for integrated communication and avionics systems and solutions. Act as a senior core member of a program Integrated Product Team (IPT) supporting implementation of the twelve Integrated Product Support Elements. The candidate will work closely with Program Management, Project Engineering, other Engineering disciplines (software, hardware, electrical, systems, RMS&H) and support staff to assure support requirements are consistently met in all phases of the product lifecycle. This is an onsite role in Cedar Rapids, IA. What You Will Do Work independently with minimal management oversight. Coach and develop junior team members on integrated product support element activities. Understand DMSMS management planning including DMSMS risks, drivers, operating procedures, and cross-functional impacts. Review electronic data sheets to identify suitable substitute parts. Perform lifetime buy modeling and spares analysis using field data and reliability predictions. Perform Trade Studies to illustrate cost/benefit of various support alternatives. Interpret engineering drawings to ensure supportability requirements are met. Perform and develop Maintenance Planning / Maintenance Task Analysis. Perform Life Cycle Cost/Cost of Ownership Analysis Perform trade studies/business case analysis to support proposals and program execution. Perform and develop Level of Repair Analysis (LORA). Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. Qualifications We Prefer Experience working within a joint customer-contractor DMSMS Management Team. Experience with SQL, Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic, Python, and other data analysis tools. Experience with engineering tools such as (Windchill, SlicWave, PowerLogJ2, EAGLE, COMPASS, CASA, OPUS, CATLOC, VMETRIC, CAMEO
