The Superior Group is seeking an experienced Project Solutions Representative who is responsible for consulting with new and existing clients to develop project solutions for their HVAC, plumbing, and building automation needs. Candidates should have prior B2B consultative selling experience and a minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC industry experience is preferred.
Key competency areas include:
  • A strong understanding of commercial HVAC, plumbing, and building automation infrastructure.
  • Ability to qualify opportunities as effective solutions for the client; utilize a holistic approach to find cost savings, reduction in operating expenses, and sustainability in all solutions.
  • Ability to make effective sales presentations in person and in virtual meeting settings while answering questions in a proficient and responsible manner.
  • Ability to survey mechanical systems while understanding the needs of the client and their facility.
  • Determine repair, modification, modernization, and upgrade opportunities to present to the client. Must be able to interpret drawings, equipment manuals, submittals, and site conditions.
  • Identify new prospective clients in the assigned market. Promptly follow up on leads and referrals while establishing rapport and identifying needs.
  • Maintain a strong backlog of solution proposals to achieve booking goals.
  • Build and maintain rapport and positive working relations with the sales and operations team to resolve problems promptly.
