Job Description

Roofing Sales Representative —
Commercial & Residential Roof Replacements Repairs Commercial Maintenance Location:
Southern California | Full-time Are you an experienced roofing salesperson who can work independently, prepare accurate estimates, and consistently follow up until a decision is made? We're looking for a driven Commercial & Residential Roofing Sales Representative who can sell roof replacements, quote repairs, and build lasting customer relationships. Leads are provided for both commercial and residential roofing. You bring the roofing knowledge, organization, initiative, and closing ability to turn those opportunities into business. You'll work with homeowners, property managers, building owners, landlords, and HOAs, managing opportunities from the first appointment through signed contracts and a thorough handoff to production. Exceptional follow-up is a must—especially on commercial proposals. We need someone who takes ownership after an estimate is sent, stays engaged with decision-makers, and keeps every opportunity moving forward. What You'll Do Sell residential and commercial roofing: Roof replacements, reroofing, repairs, and commercial service and preventative maintenance programs.
Inspect and assess roofing needs:
Conduct on-site inspections, document conditions with photos and measurements, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Quote roof repairs:
Prepare clear, accurate repair estimates for residential and commercial properties, coordinating with production when technical input is needed.
Prepare professional proposals:
Clearly explain scope of work, pricing, materials, warranties, and available financing options.
Own the follow-up process:
Confirm proposals were received, schedule follow-up conversations, answer questions, address objections, and ask for the sale.
Manage commercial sales cycles:
Identify decision-makers, understand budgets and approval timelines, and stay engaged through property manager, ownership, or HOA review.
Build recurring business:
Develop commercial maintenance relationships and opportunities for future repairs, replacements, referrals, and additional properties.
Manage your pipeline:
Keep CRM records current with inspection notes, proposal status, customer communications, and a scheduled next action for every open opportunity.
Work independently:
Organize your appointments, travel, estimates, and follow-up activities while meeting established sales and activity goals.
Support a smooth production handoff:
Submit complete contracts, photos, measurements, and scope details so the team can deliver what was sold. Generate additional business through referrals, networking, and relationships with local property owners and managers. Who We're Looking For At least 2 years of roofing sales experience , with the ability to handle both residential and commercial opportunities. Ability to assess and quote residential and commercial roof repairs—not just full replacements. Working knowledge of residential roofing and commercial low-slope roofing systems. Familiarity with commercial roofing service and preventative maintenance programs.
Outstanding follow-up habits:
Persistent, professional, organized, and reliable. Proven ability to manage longer sales cycles and communicate with multiple decision-makers. Strong presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and closing skills. Comfortable using a CRM, preparing proposals, documenting inspections, and managing a sales pipeline. A self-starter who can produce results without daily reminders or constant supervision. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to safely access roofs and conduct inspections following company safety procedures. Availability for evening and weekend appointments as needed. Spanish-speaking ability is a plus. What We Offer Company-provided commercial and residential leads. Competitive commission structure with uncapped earning potential.
Multiple sales opportunities:
replacements, repairs, and commercial maintenance. Ongoing training, product education, and support from experienced roofing professionals. Company-branded apparel, marketing support, and inspection tools. A team focused on quality workmanship, customer service, and long-term relationships. Growth opportunities as we expand across Southern California. Company vehicle eligibility upon meeting established sales performance requirements. How to Apply Apply through Indeed with your resume. Please include a brief summary of your residential and commercial roofing experience, including your experience estimating repairs and selling maintenance services. Send a short introduction email. What is your name, and where are you located? What experience do you have selling residential and commercial roofing? Have you personally quoted roof repairs or sold commercial maintenance programs? What is your follow-up process after sending a commercial estimate? Why would you be a strong addition to our team? If you know roofing, take ownership of your opportunities, and understand that consistent follow-up wins business, we want to hear from you.
