This is a highly visible, results-oriented position for someone who enjoys being out in the market, building referral relationships, generating new business, and helping prospective residents and families make confident senior living decisions. The majority of your time will be spent in the field developing relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, home health and hospice agencies, physicians, senior service organizations, professional partners, and other referral sources. This is not strictly an outside marketing role. The successful candidate must also be comfortable providing in-community sales support when needed, including conducting tours, following up with prospects and families, overcoming objections, and helping close the sale. What You'll Do Build and maintain strong professional referral relationships throughout the local market. Develop and manage a strategic outreach territory focused on generating qualified leads and new referral opportunities. Conduct regular face-to-face visits with healthcare professionals and other senior-service partners. Generate qualified inquiries, tours, and move-ins through professional referral channels. Educate referral partners about the community's services, care capabilities, pricing, and admission criteria. Respond quickly to new referrals and maintain consistent follow-up with referral partners. Coordinate closely with community leadership and the sales team to move prospects efficiently through the sales process. Provide in-community sales support as needed, including conducting tours, following up with prospects and families, and assisting throughout the decision-making process. Build rapport with prospective residents and families, understand their needs, overcome objections, ask for the business, and help close the sale . Support home visits, assessments, deposits, and move-in coordination when appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of leads, outreach activity, referral contacts, follow-up, tours, and sales activity in the company CRM. Consistently maintain CRM records so the sales pipeline, next steps, and referral-source performance can be accurately tracked. Plan, attend, and participate in networking events, professional associations, presentations, health fairs, educational events, and other lead-generating activities. Provide market intelligence regarding competitors, pricing, referral trends, and changes within the local senior living and healthcare market. Work collaboratively with community leadership to achieve established occupancy and sales goals. Work occasional evenings or weekends when required for events or community sales coverage. What We're Looking For Minimum of 2 years of experience in senior living sales, healthcare business development, outreach, marketing, or a related sales position. Senior living, assisted living, memory care, healthcare, home health, hospice, or post-acute experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop professional relationships that produce measurable business results. Strong consultative sales skills with the confidence to conduct tours, identify needs, handle objections, follow up consistently, ask for the business, and close. Highly organized and comfortable managing an active pipeline with multiple prospects and referral relationships. Strong CRM discipline and the ability to consistently document activity, follow-up, and next steps. Ability to work independently in the field while remaining closely connected to community leadership and the sales team. Excellent communication, presentation, networking, and relationship-building skills. Strong sense of urgency and personal accountability for results. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory. What Success Looks Like Success in this position is measured by both activity and results. You will be expected to build a productive network of professional referral sources, generate qualified inquiries, contribute to tours and move-ins, maintain accurate CRM documentation, and directly support the community's occupancy goals. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with the entire sales cycle — prospecting, relationship building, generating leads, following up, touring, overcoming objections, asking for the business, and closing the deal. If you are competitive, relationship-driven, organized, and motivated by measurable results, we want to hear from you.
