You will visit independent repair shops, tire shops, auto parts stores, mobile mechanics, automotive electrical shops, and fleet service businesses to demonstrate and sell OBDResource automotive diagnostic and testing products. Our products include OBD2 diagnostic scanners, battery testers, TPMS tools, automotive circuit testers, relay testers, and other professional automotive service tools. Comprehensive product and sales training will be provided before independent field work begins. you will drive business growth by engaging with automotive professionals and fleet managers, showcasing cutting-edge diagnostic solutions that revolutionize vehicle maintenance and repair. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will empower you to build strong client relationships, identify new sales opportunities, and close deals that accelerate our company's success. This position offers a vibrant environment where your passion for technology and sales can truly thrive! Responsibilities
- Prospect and visit automotive businesses within an assigned territory.
- Demonstrate OBDResource products and explain their features and applications.
- Identify customer needs, recommend appropriate products, and close sales.
- Follow up with prospects and develop repeat-purchase accounts.
- Build long-term relationships with repair shops and automotive professionals.
- Record customer visits, demonstrations, opportunities, orders, and feedback.
- Gather competitive pricing, market information, and product feedback.
- Participate in product training, sales meetings, and occasional industry events. Qualifications
- Professional working proficiency in both spoken English and Spanish is required.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair, diagnostics, batteries, TPMS, or automotive electrical systems.
- Automotive repair, automotive parts, tools, or aftermarket experience is strongly preferred.
- At least one year of outside sales, B2B sales, direct sales, or commission-based sales experience is preferred.
- Confident in cold prospecting, product demonstrations, follow-up, negotiation, and closing.
- Self-motivated, hardworking, coachable, organized, and comfortable working independently.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Comfortable traveling throughout the assigned territory.
- Able to use a smartphone, email, and basic customer management tools.
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States. What We Provide
