Duties Conduct engaging in-home consultations to assess client needs for renovation, remodeling, and lighting projects Present product demos, layout designs, and lighting solutions using tools like SketchUp or CAD software to illustrate concepts clearly Develop personalized proposals that include upselling premium features and accessories to maximize project value Negotiate pricing, project scope, and timelines with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction and successful closures Manage account details, track sales progress, and follow up on leads through effective communication skills Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for product availability, installation schedules, and maintenance services Maintain organized records of customer interactions, sales activities, and project specifications for seamless account management Qualifications Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments, preferably within renovation, construction, or lighting design sectors Strong knowledge of layout design tools such as SketchUp or CAD; familiarity with lighting design is a plus Excellent negotiation skills combined with outstanding communication abilities in English; multilingual capabilities are advantageous Familiarity with renovation processes, remodeling projects, interior design principles, and construction terminology Ability to perform basic math calculations for pricing, discounts, and measurements accurately Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts and project details efficiently Experience with POS systems, cash handling, merchandising, and retail math is beneficial A proactive attitude with high energy levels to engage customers confidently in their homes while providing exceptional customer service Has own transportation Embark on a rewarding career where your sales talent meets your passion for design!
