The Opportunity As a Retirement Sales Counselor, you will be the voice and face of The Village to prospective residents and their families. You will guide prospects throughout the sales process—from the first phone call to the community tour and ultimately to move-in.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Make and receive phone calls to prospective residents and families Build meaningful relationships and identify each prospect's needs Host walk-in visitors and conduct personalized community tours Educate prospects and families about the benefits of Life Plan Community living Follow up consistently and move prospects forward through the sales process Maintain accurate and timely information in our CRM Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals Participate in and host exciting community events and special presentations Work closely with the Marketing team to create a positive and memorable prospect experience Phone outreach and follow-up are an important part of this position. The successful candidate will be comfortable making connections, asking for the appointment, following up consistently, and confidently advancing the sale. What We're Looking For Passion for working with seniors and their families Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills Minimum of three years of consultative sales experience preferred Sales and closing experience preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals Ability to contribute to and achieve team sales goals Strong follow-up and organizational skills Demonstrated longevity and success in previous positions Minimum of two years of college experience Ability to learn and effectively use CRM systems Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Analytical and intuitive problem-solving skills Excellent time management and follow-through Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Professional, positive, and confident demeanor What We Offer Competitive base salary + uncapped sales bonus Training and support for the right candidate Opportunity to grow within an established and respected senior living community A rewarding career where your work directly impacts the lives of seniors and their families Additional Requirements Must pass DOJ and FBI background checks Must pass a drug screening and physical Must be available to work some evenings and weekends Flexible schedule required based on business and event needs
