Domestic travel required; occasional international travel may be required Position Overview A growing food-related company in Torrance is seeking a Japanese-English Bilingual Sales Representative to support sales growth and develop strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, restaurants, supermarkets, and other business customers. This position is ideal for someone with experience in food sales or marketing who enjoys building customer relationships, developing new business, attending trade shows, and working closely with both customers and internal teams. The role also includes sales forecasting, inventory coordination, order follow-up, and general sales administration. Key Responsibilities Develop new business and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, including distributors, wholesalers, restaurants, and supermarkets Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and sales activities Identify and approach prospective customers through referrals, industry contacts, trade shows, and other sales channels Attend and support industry trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events Introduce new products and provide product samples, catalogs, pricing, and product information Prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and support contract and order processing Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules Monitor inventory levels and coordinate product availability and replenishment Prepare sales forecasts and demand projections to support purchasing and inventory planning Track sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity Follow up on customer orders through completion Communicate regularly with internal management, accounting, customers, and overseas teams Prepare sales reports, meeting notes, and other administrative documentation The original JD places particular emphasis on new business development and account management, while also requiring hands-on involvement in inventory, forecasting, order management, and customer support.
