The Sales Representative is responsible for selling new/used vehicles at dealership standards to achieve gross profit, volume and guest satisfaction. Position is 100% on-site. This position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges: Base Hourly Rate of minimum wage plus commission compensation which can range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) with no upper limit. The estimated monthly earnings for this position are $4,269 to $7,624 after factoring in all forms of compensation including hourly pay and commissions/incentive pay and overtime, as applicable. Essential Duties include the following; however, other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Generates business through daily business traffic and outside sources. Assists guests as they enter the dealership showroom or sales lot. Assists guests in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to the guest's responses. Fully explains product performance, application, and benefits and offers test drives to all prospects. Closes sales by overcoming objections and negotiating price. Introduces guests to dealership operations, including the service and parts departments, to emphasize to guests the quality and efficiency of the dealerships service operations. Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to guest satisfaction. Maintains a prospect development system. Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to guests. Writes complete sales orders, process paperwork, explains warranties, provisions and financing in accordance with established dealership policies. Follows-up with Finance to make sure all stipulations for finalizing the paperwork is complete. Maintains and achieves the sales and guest satisfaction objectives set by management. Performs other administrative duties as assigned by management. Maintains high ethical standards in all actions. Maintains professional appearance at all times. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The individual should possess:

A high school diploma or equivalent, desired. Minimum of one (1) year sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry. Knowledge of vehicle leasing principles; basic mathematical concepts (such as adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying and percentages); equity values and depreciation; and laws that govern retain automotive sales. Ability to coordinate activities with other employees; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language. Learn and understand the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail auto sales. Use good judgment in challenging situations; pay attention to detail. Follow-up with guests and employees; work well with the public; communicate in a professional manner on the phone, internet and in person. Use standard office equipment. Individual will be required to:

Able to withstand outdoor weather. Frequently required to sit and stand for a long period of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
