Participate in weekly/daily status meetings. Position requires experience with Microsoft Excel and disciplined attention to details, accuracy, and procedures. $1.00 increase at 90 days. Sound understanding of customer service and sales practices with 3-5 years in an office / retail sales environment. Proficient in professional communication with high-volume phone calls, email, walk-in customers, and vendors. Experience with Microsoft Office 365. Document receipt of vehicles and help inspect them as needed, complete inspection forms, and follow established inspection procedures. Monitor and accurately enter status into spreadsheets of all work done on vehicles for required daily updates and internal monitoring program(s). Monitor the accurate and timely ordering of materials and equipment for inventory and production requirements. Check equipment received against purchase orders for accuracy and enter receipt of material into purchase order system. Coordinate with the shop on production to help ensure schedules are met. Coordinate scheduling of vehicle shipments. Invoice completed vehicles for work performed, as required. Keep a clean and organized work area to maintain a positive environment for our customers. Handle customer service issues within the appropriate parameters Help Fleet customers in the showroom with equipment purchases. Help scheduled customers when bringing vehicles in Call customers when vehicle is ready for pick up. Take sales calls. Send customer quotes via email. Help sales reps when needed. Make sure all quotes have proper customer names, signatures, drawings, and instructions before submitting. Competencies 1. Thoroughness 2. Must be a Team Player 3. Retail Inside Sales Experience Supervisory Responsibility This position has minimal supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment Primary work area is a clean, professional, climate-controlled retail environment. Will be required to walk into the shop area throughout the day, and this area is not climate controlled. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position involves sitting, walking and lifting less than 20 pounds for long periods of time throughout the day. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours and days of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required. Required Education and Experience 18 years old. Must have a valid state driver's license and clean driving record able to pass our insurance requirements. Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Must be able to read, understand, and follow detailed written instructions as provided. Retail sales is a requirement, automotive sales are a plus. Preferred Education and Experience 1.
